Gewürztraminer
pronounced (guh-VOORTS-trah-mee-ner) Semi-sweet aromatic white wine with fruity floral flavors highlighting tasting notes of lychee (a sweet & floral stone fruit), rose and a touch of spice. Pairs well with spicy foods especially THAI or Indian Food. Snack pairings with a glass of Gewürztraminer include tropical fruits like mango, pineapple and papayas. Muenster cheese is sensational and a classic pairing.
Serve lightly chilled or chilled @ 45-55°F
Prosecco~
(Bubbly/Sparkling wine)
A light body Italian Sparkling wine with fruity notes like green apple & pear. Pairs well with snacks like nuts (almonds) and appetizers. Accompanies smoked salmon, shrimp and raw fish like sushi and sashimi; salads and cured meats
Serve well chilled @ 43-50°F
Cabernet Sauvignon
A full-bodied red wine that pairs well with red meats, steak, lamb or prime rib with grilled vegetables, perfect for an evening dinner. Aged cheese like Gouda and Brie with nuts make for a nice snack. If you have a sweet tooth, a glass of Cab and a piece of dark chocolate is an amazing pairing.
Serve well at room temp 60-68°F
